The Festival of The Sea

This weekend (1 – 2 June): festival hosted by Hátíð hafsins í Reykjavík.

The Festival of The Sea is an addition of Fishermen’s Day which is held on the first Sunday in June in Iceland. Every year, Sjómannadagurinn (e: Fishermen’s Day) is celebrated in honor of the brace people who have worked hard to support one of Iceland’s main industry.
